Aegea
Corporate Communication Strategy for Global Climate Agenda: The selection of Belém, in the Brazilian Amazon, as the host city for COP30 placed the region at the center of global discussions about climate change, biodiversity and sustainable development. For Aegea, being present at COP30 meant strengthening its corporate reputation and demonstrating its commitment to sustainable development in Northern Brazil.
The Project
What we communicated and how
We built a corporate communications strategy organized around two parallel pillars: an institutional layer that documented Aegea's footprint and impact in Northern Brazil, and a cultural and emotional layer that amplified the identity of the region itself. The two pillars were designed to reinforce each other so the institutional case landed inside a story about people and place rather than as a corporate broadcast.
Institutional Communication
We presented Aegea's social, economic, and environmental impacts across the North through data, case studies, challenges, and achievements, and we introduced Aegea's recently secured operations in Belém in the context of the company's longer history in the region.
Cultural and Emotional Storytelling
We celebrated the cultural identity of Pará and the broader Northern region, amplified local voices and regional pride, and built a bridge between national audiences and the identity of the Amazon, so that Aegea's presence in Belém was framed by the region's voice rather than narrated about it.
